We are pleased to announce our summer sale of selected estate antiques collected especially for this annual sale.  Preview Monday, August 19th from 8 am to 5 pm or morning of sale 7:30 am to 9 am. Sale will be held at the Talbot Farm, Poplar Hill, Turner, Maine.

Civil War & Photography:  Album of 43 Civil War officers, mostly of the 44th Regiment of MA; 6 Civil War swords, including presentational sword to Frank W. Reynolds of the 44th Regiment of MA and Cavalry sabre by D.J. Millard Co. belonged to Nathaniel Bowditch. Fine ½ plate daguerreotype of Caroline Reynolds Ward in Brady flip case; Several other early daguerreotypes; 1835 engraving of the 1722 Town of Boston Map by Capt. John Bonner;  Large set of Civil War china from Reynolds Family; Commission documents for Frank Reynolds; Civil War letters from Richard Weld.

 

Furniture: Empire dropwell sideboard w/ figural mahogany veneer; Oak multi drawered revolving hardware cabinet; Mahogany revival highboy, heavily carved. Musical Instruments: Nice variety of instruments including 1963 Gibson walnut electric guitar; S.S. Stewart 5 string banjo, ca. 1892;  Albert Fischer violin; 1947 E.K. Blessing trumpet.
